We love a challenge at Trabolgan so we've got some really exciting activities for the whole family to experience. Hold on tight and enjoy the fun under the safe supervision of our qualified and experienced Trabolgan Adventure Sports (TAS) team.
Abseiling (Age 6+)
Learn to make a controlled and exhilarating descent down our purpose built 12 meter high tower. There are a maximum of twelve participants allowed (where two participants abseil at a time) per 1 ½ hour session. The price is €7 per person per session.
Climbing (Age 6+)
Learn the basic skills and techniques of climbing on the Trabolgan Climbing Tower. A fun based activity, based on reaching your own personal goals. There are a maximum of twelve participants allowed (where two participants climb at a time) per 1 ½ hour session. The price is €7 per person per session.
Zip wire (Also known as ‘flying fox’) (Age 6+)
Take a leap of faith off the top of the tower on the Flying Fox and zip wire down a 100 metre long cable. This is ‘pay as you play’ activity, will be open during certain times and there is no pre booking facility. The price is €7 per person per session.
Quad biking (Age 8-11yrs & 12-17yrs)
This "pay as you play" activity is run for two ages groups 8yrs–11yrs on one track and 12yrs–17yrs on another track and is designed to be a skills course rather than a racing track. Participants are taught to negotiate the track in a controlled and skillful manner. The price is €7 per person per six minute go on the bikes.
Archery (Age 8+)
Designed to be a fun introduction to this sport. Everyone on this activity should be able to hit the target comfortably by the end of the session.The price for this 1 ½ hour session is €7 per person and there is a maximum of twelve participants per session. (Groups of 4 participants play in rotation)
Aeroball (Age 6+)
A cross between basketball and volleyball, this energetic sport takes place on a trampoline.A maximum of twelve participants are allowed. The price for this 1 ½ hour session is €5 per person. (Groups of 4 participants play in rotation)
Snorkeling (Age 8+)
Held at the swimming pool, this activity takes place at 9.00am on scheduled days and is available to confident swimmers who have completed the medical declaration form. The session lasts 1 ½ hours and there is a maximum of twelve participants per session. You must bring your own swimming costume and towel. You will need €1 for the locker (this is refundable). Snorkels and masks are supplied. The price for a snorkelling session is €7 per person.
Karting (Height Restrictions Apply)
This ‘pay as you play’ activity offers thrill seekers the opportunity to negotiate seven exhilarating bends and straights on our Trabolgan Trax and provides single seat and double seat karts so younger children can take Mum & Dad along for the ride too. The price is €7 per kart.
Notes: Age & Height Restrictions Apply on all TAS Activities and are subject to availability. Suitable clothing (long trousers & long sleeved tops) & suitable footwear must be worn at all times (no open toe shoes or sandals allowed). Long hair needs to be tied back and all jewellery removed.
